So I've been going through the amazing and awe-inspiring process of pitching my book to agents (making killing myself out of misery motions.), the very process which, if anyone is on the track for doing so, seems more important than making a wicked sweet graphic novel. The Agencies are nice and helpful, but the sheer repetition (had a hard time spelling that for some reason, long day maybe.) and pressure is hemorrhage inducing. Not to mention I'm sitting in a coffee stuff full of homeless oldtimey kids (an variety plentiful here in NOLA.) plucking away on horribly untuned banjos. Someone may die tonight, and it maybe someone in a fedora and vest.
So anyway! Got a new sketchbook! When I was in ATL my buddies raided and abandoned freight train depot and rustled up all these half full surveyor notebooks from the forties. Very cool.
Also some of my work is going to be in a collab authored by windowskiller, which is featuring flash and fanart and another collab authored by JKAmovies. Not sure when these are coming out, soon I hope.
That said I'm bored. So anyone that wants to do a quick collab (illustrations, fan art, ect.) or wants a commission done, now's the time. I'm quick and cheap, what more could you ask for?!!!
Note: I'm not really free to do long term comics, though it never hurts to ask.
